I believe this was taken through the window on a metro ride from New Carrolton into D.C. Just some leafless trees passing by, but beautifully poetic (and such a poetic sentiment as well).

This place held all manner of odds & ends: kazoos, harmonicas, maps, atlases, posters, hammers, nails, watches, matches, corn cob pipes, thumb tacks, umbrellas . . . the old man who owned it (and the building) finally died a couple years back. i believe it's been renovated since his passing, and is now empty.
